In anticipation of Usain Bolt's possible triple Olympic gold medal in Rio, when he will compete in the 100 metres, the 200 metres and the 4×100 metres relay, Hublot is signing two new limited editions of the Big Bang dedicated to the Jamaican sprinter. Precisely in homage to Bolt's origins, the predominant colours of the Yellow Gold (pictured) and Ceramic versions are green and gold; the strap also features a Jamaican flag design, while the chronograph hand on the matt black skeleton dial reproduces the champion's silhouette. With a case 45 millimetres in diameter, made of 18-carat yellow gold (limited edition of 100 pieces, €41,400) or black ceramic (limited edition of 250 pieces, €21,700), the two watches are equipped with an in-house, self-winding, flyback movement, calibre HUB 1242 Unico, visible through the sapphire crystal opening in the case back.
