United by the same passion for all that is 'handcrafted', two young men from the province of Rimini - Massimo Doddi and Marco Mancini - have created a watch winder for automatic watches that is completely handmade and characterised by the use of materials such as walnut wood and aluminium, as well as an attractive design. Thanks to its special structure that allows omnidirectional rotation of the timepiece, Astro (this is the name chosen for Laminet's first watch winder, a word that in Romagna dialect indicates a poor hut, made of sheet metal) guarantees optimal winding of the same, bringing to mind, with its motion, the orbits of celestial bodies. The programmable timer also allows for a customisable adjustment of its operation: in fact, it is possible to personally set the day and time at which to start it or the moment at which to stop its rotation.
