Flik Flak makes a new app to teach children around the world to tell time. Available for free for Android and iOS, "Reading the Time with Flik and Flak" takes a playful approach to learning the time. It works on smartphones and tablets and is available in 5 languages. The app was designed in close cooperation with teachers and educators and includes six levels of increasing difficulty for optimal and tangible learning results. "Reading the Time with Flik and Flak" accompanies children through a typical day, intriguing them and testing their skills in reading the time. The app can be customised to suit the child, incorporating wake-up times and the various activities of the day as well as the much fought-over bedtime. The learning curve starts from placing the numbers around the dial on the mirror in a steam-covered bath to understanding the co-dependent relationship between hours and minutes.
