1IWC MILANO (17)On 28 June, IWC opened its third Italian boutique, located at Via Montenapoleone 1, in the heart of Milan's luxury district. Cutting the ribbon in the exclusive setting of the fashion district were Pierfrancesco Favino, IWC Brand Ambassador, Alessia Marcuzzi, patroness of the event, and actress Anna Ferzetti, accompanied by Beppe Ambrosini, Brand Manager IWC Italia, and Hannes Pantli, member of the IWC Board. The Swiss Maison celebrated its opening in the presence of some of the most important figures on the Italian business scene. "We are honoured to officially open the boutique in Milan, a city that reflects luxury par excellence, where everything is fast and dynamic, but which still appreciates the passing of time and the elegance of wristwatches. We welcome our guests to share a unique and unforgettable evening with them, taking the opportunity to present a special edition of the Portugieser Rattrapante dedicated to our new boutique," said Beppe Ambrosini, Brand Manager IWC Italy, during the Gala Dinner. On this evening, IWC Schaffhausen also presented for the first time an exclusive limited edition of 100 of its most iconic watch, the Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante Edition "Boutique Milano" (Ref. IW371215). This timepiece is the heir to the hugely successful model last offered in 2006 and which has won numerous admirers. The Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante Edition "Boutique Milano" is equipped with the characteristic third push-button for the rattrapante mechanism and is available with a red gold case, a blue dial with tachymeter and telemetric scale, and a black alligator leather strap. Along with the limited edition inscription '01/100', to further seal the link with Milan, the engraving on the case back features the Visconti bison, the city's symbol and coat of arms.
