In 2020, as part of the revamped Master Control range, Jaeger-LeCoultre combined with a column-wheel chronograph and triple calendar with moon phases. First introduced in 1992, the Master collection combines classic aesthetics (inspired by the design and proportions of the Maison's round watches of the 1950s and 1960s) with the technical performance of manufactory-made movements.

It was also the first to benefit from the '1000 Hours Control' certification, a series of tests that since 2003 have been definitively extended to the brand's entire production range, covering regularity of operation under varying conditions of use (temperature, atmospheric pressure, as a result of shocks and in the presence of magnetic fields) and the aesthetic and construction quality of the watch (including water resistance).

The new version of the Master Control Chronograph Calendar in rose gold with a black soleil dial brings a new personality to this model: it recalls the coloured dials of the mid-20th century, reinterpreting them in a contemporary style. By elaborating a balanced layout combining two classic complications - the triple calendar and the bi-compax chronograph - Jaeger-LeCoultre's designers have made reading the indications simpler and more intuitive.

The chrono minute counter at 3 o'clock is offset by the continuous seconds counter at 9 o'clock, while the day and month windows (at the top) are offset by the moon phase and date hand at 6 o'clock. On the flange is the pulsometre scale highlighted in red contrasting with the black background, as are the month and day indications in red.

Inside beats the calibre 759, which has combined the JLC751 column-wheel automatic chronograph with a mainplate with full calendar and moon phase functions while maintaining a 65-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the refined finishes include the côtes de Genève motif, blued screws and a customised skeletonised gold winding rotor. The strap is black alligator leather.
