Jaquet Droz - Eclipse Watches

Jaquet Droz's Eclipse model, a complete calendar with moon phases, has been given a new look. For the first time, it combines a technical complication with a steel case. The latter frames a black onyx dial with a disc at 6 o'clock behind which the smiling face of the moon appears and disappears, treated in rhodium (as do the eight small stars all around, as well as the hour, minute and date hands). The heart of the watch is the self-winding mechanical movement, Jaquet Droz 6553L2 calibre based on Frédéric Piguet, with a 22-carat grey gold oscillating weight, double barrel and 68-hour power reserve. Guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 3 atmospheres, the Maison's new timepiece is fitted with an elegant black alligator strap with a steel pin buckle.
