Jaquet Droz for a sustainable future

Jaquet Droz has officially received certification from the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), a totally independent non-profit organisation founded in 2005 with the aim of certifying that each of its members adopts environmental, social, ethical and responsible practices in the sourcing and use of precious metals (gold, silver, platinum), diamonds and coloured precious stones. Jaquet Droz, which uses components produced entirely in Switzerland, mostly in La Chaux-de-Fonds and the Vallée de Joux, thus joins other Swatch Group Maisons such as Omega and Harry Winston. "From watchmaking excellence to ethical excellence, joining the RJC is another step we are proud to have taken," explains Christian Lattmann, CEO of Montres Jaquet Droz. "This certification is a source of constant commitment for us, which we consider part of our social and environmental responsibility, particularly towards the younger generations - who are extremely sensitive to this issue - to whom we must reserve a better future." The initiative concerns without exception all positions within the House, committed to a sustainable future.
