Panerai's new e-commerce limited edition

Panerai presents the Submersible Azzurro - 42 mm (PAM01209), a watch made in only 500 pieces and intended for exclusive sale on the panerai.com e-commerce platform. A distinguishing feature is the matt blue colour of the ceramic disc of the unidirectional rotating bezel which, together with the screw-down back, the unmistakable crown-protecting device and a water-resistance rating of 30 bar (approx. 300 metres depth), makes it an ideal model for professional underwater use. As well, of course, as the luminescence of the indexes, hands and bezel in a dual green/blue colour scheme, for immediate definition of dive times. Animating the watch is the Calibre P.900, entirely designed and developed in-house at the Panerai manufacture in Neuchâtel, the first proprietary self-winding movement with a small diameter and thickness (4.2 mm) to combine a date display and three days of power reserve. The case is in satin-finished AISI 316L steel, 42 millimetres in diameter, and the strap is in black rubber, with a trapezoidal buckle in satin-finished steel. A second strap in black Sportech Velcro completes the equipment, together with a special interchangeable tool and a screwdriver for removing the buckle. The new Submersible Azzurro - 42 mm is on the wrist of the brand ambassador and Olympic swimming champion Gregorio Paltrinieri, star of the video of the third episode of the PamCast project entitled "Spirit of Italy", live on Panerai's digital platforms from Friday 11th September.
