The nautical adventure of Frederique Constant

Frederique Constant pays tribute to Riva's wooden yachts of the 1920s, with their unmistakable design. It does so with a new limited edition model from the Runabout line, with which it celebrates, as it has every year since 2009, its association with the Riva Historical Society, an association dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the brand's classic yachts. The 42-millimetre case, in steel or with rose gold plating, surrounds a navy blue dial with a central guilloché motif, luminescent hour markers and hands, and a magnifying glass in the date window at 6 o'clock. Also in blue is the leather strap with contrasting white stitching. The heart of the watch is a mechanical movement with automatic winding, calibre FC-303 (Sellita SW200-1 base), visible through the sapphire crystal on the back and decorated with the engraving of the Riva Historical Society flag. Water-resistant to 10 atmospheres, the Runabout Automatic is sold in a case that includes a scale reproduction of a Riva boat, in wood. Limited edition of 2,888 pieces for each of the two versions.
