The successful Opus series of Harry WinstonThe Opus X was created in collaboration with master watchmaker Jean-Francois Mojon, founder of Chronode SA, which specialises in the development of highly refined complications. The Opus X offers an original indication of time: based on a system of epicycloidal and hypocycloidal gears, the exclusive hand-wound movement is inspired by the motion of celestial bodies. Each individual indicator, for hours, minutes and seconds, is mounted on a 24-hour rotating platform. Each indicator rotates in the opposite direction to the platform, ensuring that the orientation of the dials with respect to the indicators remains constant (with 12 and 60 at the top, for example). A hand on the platform indicates a second time zone, over 24 hours. Made with a white gold case, it is produced in a limited series of 100 pieces. Price: 174,150 euros.
