The 2013 MotoGP World Championship came to an end at the Valencia circuit after an exciting race that saw Marc Marquez finish on the third step of the podium behind his compatriots Lorenzo and Pedrosa, a result that nonetheless allowed him to take the title of World Champion in the premier class of MotoGP. The watch brand is proud of its partnership with the rider, a true sporting talent who has been followed and supported by the brand since 2011, when Lotus signed an agreement to become Marc Marquez's personal sponsor. The achievement of this important title crowns a path of growth destined to progress further in the future. Lotus dedicates to this victory the new collection of Marc Màrquez chronographs accompanied by an unprecedented creativity that explodes in two new advertising visuals dedicated to the Cabronçito. The new collection of chronographs projects a glance towards the future with a sporty, young and intriguing design. It consists of six watches and a limited edition. The Lotus style emerges in every detail of the timepiece: a round steel case, a two-tone rubber strap and a guaranteed water resistance of up to 50 metres. Three of the chronographs in the collection have dials decorated with the chequered flag motif, the other three feature Màrquez's race number, 93, and his name printed alongside the colours of the flags used during the competition for communication: black, disqualification flag; white, flag signalling slow moving vehicles along the track; red, flag used to stop the race. This line also includes a Limited Edition, a black IP-coated steel chronograph equipped with a quartz movement. The bezel recalls the design of the young champion's motorbike engine. This special watch comes in a gift box containing a second interchangeable strap.
