Louis Erard x Vianney Halter

The collaboration between Louis Erard and some of the best known and most appreciated independent watchmakers continues. After Alain Silberstein, it is the turn of Vianney Halter, known for the avant-garde architecture of his timepieces. From this successful liaison comes the new automatic Régulateur in a limited edition of 178 pieces, the first designed by Halter for the general public. It is powered by a Sellita SW266-1 movement, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 38-hour power reserve and skeletonised oscillating weight, housed in a 42-millimetre diameter steel case. The watch, reminiscent of the large precision clocks of the nineteenth century, features a regulator dial with the hours off-centre at 12 o'clock, the minutes in the centre and the seconds in an auxiliary subdial at 6 o'clock; just like the models of the past from which it takes its inspiration, it is traversed by blued hands each pivoting on a single dial. It also sports the Louis Erard logo at 3 o'clock and the Vianney Halter logo at 9 o'clock. The caseback bears the engraving "Limited Edition 1 of 178". It is on sale for CHF 3,500.
