Mick Schumacher is the new ambassador
Richard Mille

Richard Mille is delighted to welcome young German driver Mick Schumacher to its family of champions. Worthy heir to a famous Formula 1 name, Mick will this year take part in the Formula 2 World Championship, the last 'hurdle' before F1. Determination and competitiveness are the main qualities that distinguish Mick Schumacher, characteristics he demonstrated last year when he won the title at the FIA European Formula 3 Championship. Mick made his Formula 2 debut with Prema Racing at the Bahrain International Circuit just yesterday. Since the beginning of his career, Mick has consciously achieved his success through hard work and perseverance, proving his deserved place in the sport and also boasting a talented past as a kart racer under his mother's name, Betsch. In 2014, he was vice world champion in Karting, European and German championships, this time under the name Mick Junior. 2015 saw Schumacher's debut in ADAC Formula 4, the German federation of car clubs, at Van Amersfoort Racing and the following year at Prema Powerteam. He finished with a second place in the 2016 German championship and competed simultaneously in the Italian Formula 4 championships where, although not participating in all the races, he finished second. The following year Mick switched to Formula 3 and 2018 marked his consecration to the European championship. "Racing is a constant thought. Obviously the goal is Formula 1. The FIA Formula 2 championship brings me closer and closer to my dream," says Mick. Mick has everything he needs to reach the highest levels of Formula 1 and to give the public a chance to once again cheer Schumacher's name.
