In 2011 Montblanc celebrates the 190th anniversary of the chronograph and the 230th anniversary of the birth of its inventor, with the Nicolas Rieussec Anniversary Edition, a celebratory version of the model launched in 2008, the first watch with a movement designed and developed in-house. It is a limited edition (190 pieces) in red gold with a new guilloché grain d'orge dial. The skeletonisation, also on the date window positioned in the centre of the dial, allows a glimpse of the movement, the MB R110 manual calibre, with two barrels and a 72-hour power reserve. Price: 28,800 euros.
It is also available in 25 pieces in platinum (€45,500) and 90 pieces in white gold (€31,000).
