Here are two proposals from BaselWorld 2010 signed Glashütte Original. The first declines the 1960s style of the Senator Sixties collection in an unprecedented Gran Data model. The domed dial with a silver-plated galvanic finish features black Arabic numeral hour markers with retro graphics positioned at the quarters, while the double date window is given ample space by positioning it in the centre. The other bar hour markers and baton hands are in pink gold. Made of steel, it is powered by the automatic 39-47 calibre with 750 gold rotor. Price: 7,050 euros.
The new version of the PanoMaticLunar XL, on the other hand, focuses on minimalism and unprecedented colour nuances in a scale of various shades of grey. The gunmetal dial features the traditional arrangement of off-centre hour, small seconds and moon phases and large date displays, highlighted by a darker tone of colour. The moon phase disc is decorated with a shimmering full moon and stars silhouetted against a silver sky with a sandblasted finish. Made of steel, it is equipped with the automatic calibre 90-02. Price: 9,250 euros.
