If your passion is Formula One, you cannot miss the Carrera Tachymetre Fangio Limited Edition, the new chronograph TAG Heuerdedicated to the famous Argentinean driver Juan Manuel Fangio and distributed in Italy in only 100 pieces. A legendary chronograph, worn not only by the multiple world champion, known for his daring victories on the motor racing circuits, but also by numerous Formula One drivers in the 1970s.
The name of this model is reminiscent of the Carrera Panamericana Mexico, the adventurous race in which hundreds of professional and amateur drivers took part in American and European cars; one of the most demanding tests in the history of motor racing, held only five times, from 1950 to 1954, because it was considered too dangerous due to the many accidents that occurred. 1953 was the year Fangio won this adventurous race in his Lancia D24, travelling at an average speed of over 170 km/h; 1957 was the year he won his last Formula One championship.
