Steel case and blue dial with Tek motif for the new Seamaster Aqua Terra, which adopts the new Master Co-Axial mechanism. The family of these movements includes the Master Co-Axial calibres 8400/8401, 8500, 8511 and 8520: all are distinguished from their Co-Axial predecessors by their ability to withstand magnetic fields of over 15,000 gauss. In this case, the 8500 is at the heart of the model pictured. The polished screw-down case back bears the engravings 'Si14' and 'Anti-Magnetic> 15,000 Gauss' and is also fitted with a sapphire crystal porthole. The strap is blue leather.
