Out of Order - Hornet

calabrone_ooo-out-of-order_001-8-neOut of Order dives into the past with the new watch called Calabrone, the first pocket watch model from the Veneto-based watch brand that revisits a male classic in a thoroughly modern key. A model with a vintage flavour, then, a mood that characterises all the collections signed OOO-Out of Order, famous for the concept of "Damaged in Italy" - that is, "Damaged in Italy" - for which each watch is already born with an aged look, both in the case and in the strap, created thanks to a certified patent exclusive to the company, thanks to which each article in the same line is different from the next. This gives the brand the noble certification of a Made in Italy product. In the Calabrone, every single detail is meticulously cared for and the choice of materials is synonymous with high quality, a fundamental value of the brand. The 47 mm case is made of galvanised stainless steel, the crown is push-piece, the case back is mineral glass, and the movement is the Seagull 6497-1. In addition, like any self-respecting 'onion' watch, the Hornet is fitted with a galvanised chain with the option of replacing it with a hand-stitched vintage leather strap. Even the packaging does not go unnoticed, thanks to the use of a wooden cuvee-style box with a plexiglass front, with a used-effect leather case inside where one can keep one's pocket watch. We strongly wanted to create this new model, and it took us two years of planning, all-nighters, projects that were started and modified hundreds of times during the course of work," say Riccardo Torrisi, Dario Celotto and Claudio Dalla Mora, owners of the brand, "an infinite search for detail and aesthetic perfection that we are proud to have achieved together with our team.
