Perrelet Turbine changes appearance

Perrelet extends its Turbine collection by welcoming the 'Turbine Camo' model in a limited series of only 100 pieces. With a diameter of 44 mm, the case is made of steel treated with black PVD to make it more resistant to scratches. The same treatment is also applied to the ten blades of the whirlwind that is activated by the mere movement of the wrist: they are made of aluminium, a light material that, together with five tungsten counterweights, allows them to turn quickly and return to their original position. As the blades rotate, they reveal a sub-dial decorated in a military pattern (hence the name 'Camo', short for Camouflage) in the colours of light green, olive green, beige and brown. The flange of the dial, protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal, features Arabic numerals and geometric indices. There is an additional detail: it is also possible to read the time at night as the numbers 13 to 24 are visible at the minute scale. To ensure optimal legibility, the Arabic numerals, hour markers and hour and minute hands are coated with SuperLuminova, while the red central seconds hand adds a bright splash of colour. "Turbine Camo" is powered by the Perrelet manufacture automatic calibre P-331, with 42 hours of power reserve. The case back, closed by 6 screws with a transparent porthole, allows one to admire the refined finishes on the bridges and its openworked oscillating weight personalised with the company logo. The watch is completed by a rubber strap with the same camouflage pattern as the sub-dial and closes with a black PVD steel buckle embellished with the Maison's logo. Price: €4,780.
