This model is also offered in a second version, the new Ref. 5711/1300A-001, again with a steel case and olive green sunray dial but with 32 baguette-cut diamonds of Top Wesselton Pure quality on the bezel. Price: €83,677.
The third new Nautilus is the Travel Time Chronograph Ref. 5990/1R-001 in rose gold with a sun-blue dial, which joins the Ref. 5990/1A in steel in the collection. The timepiece, which combines three complications - the flyback chronograph, the Travel Time function (dual time zone) and the date display with a hand combined with the local time - is fitted with the self-winding CH 28-520 C FUS chronograph calibre and is water-resistant to 120 metres. Price: 94,136 euros.
Finally, the Haute Joaillerie model Ref. 7118/1450R-001 offers a new interpretation of the Nautilus, featuring no less than 2,553 Top Wesselton Pure quality brilliant-cut diamonds, set in serti neige on the case, bezel and bracelet. It features a brand new dial where the rows of stones are set in the characteristic wave relief of the Nautilus Ladies collection. Slightly larger than its predecessor (the case measures 35.2 mm in diameter as opposed to 33.6 mm), it is perfectly legible thanks to a dial equipped with luminescent-coated rose gold "alpha" hour and minute hands and applied hour-markers and Arabic numerals made of the same metal and also luminescent. The pink gold case houses the self-winding Calibre 324 S, with fine finishing visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Price: 324,246 euros.
Statements made to the press by Stern this year suggest that Patek Philippe has a new material in store for the case of its Nautilus. Who knows, it may not arrive by 2021 or we may have to wait until 2022 to find out.
