Romain Jerome - Spacecraft Watches

Romain Jerome presents Spacecraft, its first astronaut watch born from the partnership between Manuel Emch, Eric Giroud and Jean-Marc Wiederrecht and equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement developed exclusively for Romain Jerome by Wiederrecht in the Agenhor micro-engineering workshops in Geneva. The finishing of the movement involves a kind of carriage guided by a spring that moves a red lacquered cursor every 60 minutes, placed below the metallised sapphire crystal, which makes it possible to read the time on the side of the watch. The minutes, which appear on a black disc, are read on the upper part of the case, which is also fitted with angular finishes and titanium plates. The time is set via a screw-locked crown at 12 o'clock. Spacecraft is equipped with a black polyamide strap. The special feature of this model is that it is a real pilot's watch, in that, while maintaining the typical posture of the arms while driving, it allows the time to be read immediately and without twisting the wrist. Limited edition of 99 numbered pieces. Price: 21,900 euros.
