Video game lovers will find in this Space Invaders Watch a real gem. Celebrating the first video game in history to make millions of dollars, the piece produced by Romain Jerome faithfully reproduces the effect graphics pixels of Taito's masterpiece.
With a 46mm wide case made of black stainless steel, this watch is a collector's item, being sold in only 78 pieces for each of the two versions available, in colour and black and white. The number 78 was chosen to commemorate the year of the game's release, the very distant (at least as far as the world of video games is concerned) 1978. Made with top-notch technology, the Space Invaders watch has a 48-hour power reserve and automatic movement, as well as an excellent design that demonstrates the care taken to make the spaceships contained in the dial. The price has not yet been announced, but will take into account the limited number of pieces and especially the presence of fragments of the Apollo 11 capsule inside.
