School of Watchmaking in Milan - Enrolment Boom

Scuola di Orologeria di Milano del CAPAC
CAPAC's School of Watchmaking in Milan

The Milan School of Watchmaking of the CAPAC, one of the specialised structures that has been working in the vocational training sector for years, has recorded an increase in the number of aspirants enrolled in its courses, which are usually held from October to June. The reasons for this growth are manifold: firstly, the employment outcomes that allow for rapid entry into the world of work; secondly, the modernisation of the equipment, culminating in the almost complete renovation of the watchmaking laboratory with a view to technological upgrading. Established in 1984 also thanks to the collaboration with Assorologi, the Italian association grouping manufacturers and distributors in the watchmaking sector, the school obtained funding from the Lombardy Region, allowing students to attend courses free of charge. Credit for its success and competitiveness is also due to the important economic support provided by a number of companies in the sector that are members of Assorologi (Audemars Piguet Italy, Binda Italy, BRM, Citizen Watch Italy, Eberhard Italy, Lorenz, LVMH Watch & Jewelry Italy, Richemont Italy, Rolex Italy, The Swatch Group Italy).
