Tissot and the motor world

Tissot reissues one of its chronographs from the 1970s. It is called Heritage Navigator 1973 and is a clear tribute to an important date for the brand: in 1973, in fact, thanks to the collaboration with Alpine, queen of the rally circuit, the union with the world of racing began, and continues unabated to this day. The new watch, with a steel case 43 millimetres in diameter, plays on shades of black for the counters and tachometer, contrasting with the silver tone of the dial enlivened by orange touches for the chronograph indications. Black is also the perforated strap, a reproduction of a model designed and patented by Tissot in the 1960s and recalling the steering wheel of sports cars of the time. The movement is mechanical with automatic winding, ETA-Valjoux calibre 7753, with a 46-hour power reserve. In a limited edition of 1,973 pieces, it is on sale for €1,995.
