The U-Boat novelty of the moment is called Capsoil: its special feature is the oily liquid that envelops the dial, creating an ever-moving compensation bubble and offering a three-dimensional view of the hands that seem to float as if without the glass. The watch, available in chronograph and time-only versions, has a steel or black DLC-treated case, 45 millimetres in diameter, and a convex sapphire crystal displaying beige hands and indices treated with SuperLuminova. The water-resistance rating is 10 atmospheres. Capsoil comes with a leather strap with water-repellent lining, handmade by Florentine craftsmen.
