A first for Skagen: the touchscreen smartwatch

Skagen launches its first touchscreen smartwatch. Called Falster, it is available in four bright colours, with pink and silver mesh steel straps, and features Android Wear™ 2.0 technology and Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Wear 2100 platform. "One of our main goals with Skagen smartwatches is to make technology more familiar and accessible. To this end, we simplify and modify our products, and aim to bring the user experience closer to the user's needs: dial layouts and movements are designed for calm and pleasant interactions. We've added personalised details, including our 'mascot' Dan, a friendly guide who celebrates personal goals and helps make people smile every day," says Frederik Thrane, creative director at Skagen. "We want to make the most of technology to create a watch in step with our design concept, aimed at offering a better lifestyle. We are committed to creating unique dials that can only be made in the digital world, to prove that it is not just the watch that matters, but also the choice of how it is used."
