From the union of Haute Horlogerie and Haute Couture comes Égérie, the new women's collection from Vacheron Constantin. It is characterised by the play of textures and weaves, alternating flat and slightly raised shapes, pleated effects reminiscent of fabrics, and asymmetries enhanced by a fluid design. These range from the dial with its pleated motif to the halo of diamonds in the form of a thin braid that accentuates the femininity of the case. And, above all, refinement expressed through a geometry punctuated by calligraphic Arabic numerals in gold worked like lace or the leaf-shaped hour and minute hands reminiscent of the fine needles used in Haute Couture ateliers. Comprising three models (automatic, moon phase and diamond pavé), each of which offers a version in pink gold, white gold or steel, set with diamonds, the Égérie collection is versatile. With a metal bracelet resembling a second skin for the steel versions and interchangeable straps for the gold versions, it offers numerous customisation options. The watches will be available at all Vacheron Constantin boutiques and authorised dealers from 1 March 2020.
