Traditionnelle Manual-Winding Collection Excellence Platine CEPThe 950 platinum holds a special place in the universe of prestige watchmaking, so much so that since 2006 Vacheron Constantin has created a collection dedicated to this precious metal: the Collection Excellence Platine. Composed exclusively of exceptional models produced in limited editions, the collection now welcomes a new version of the famous Traditionnelle manual timepiece. The Traditionnelle manual watch symbolises the spirit of Vacheron Constantin for its sober and elegant design and its respect for the values of Haute Horlogerie. This model is presented in an entirely platinum version that enriches the prestigious Collection Excellence Platine, particularly appreciated by collectors with a passion for exclusive models. The new timepiece will be available in a limited edition of 75 numbered pieces. With the exception of the hour markers and hands, which are made of white gold, the entire watch, from the case to the dial to the strap buckle, is made of 950 platinum. Adding a touch of exclusive refinement are the stitching on the dark blue alligator leather strap, created by weaving threads of platinum and silk. The sandblasted-finish dial features thin applied hour markers, a "chemin de fer" minute scale and small seconds counter at 6 o'clock for a striking visual balance. The "Pt950" inscription between 4 and 5 o'clock discreetly indicates that this model belongs to the Collection Excellence Platine. The 38 mm-diameter case houses a movement that honours the Haute Horlogerie tradition in terms of precision and reliability. Through the transparent sapphire-glass back, the hand-wound IWC-manufactured 4400 AS calibre displays excellent hand-finished details and boasts a 65-hour power reserve.
