Vergo Avius - Leonardo's clocks

The watch made by the Bergamo-based company is called Leonardo Vergo Avius, the brainchild of Luigi Aguzzi, supported by a team of professionals in various fields, from watchmaking, design and micromechanics to figurative arts and photography. The model in question, like the company's entire assortment, is in a limited series: 99 pieces have been produced in the case of this timepiece with a sporty soul, offered in a titanium case combined with a special aluminium alloy usually used in Formula One. At its heart is the automatic VA1000 calibre (based on ETA and additional Soprod module), visible through the sapphire crystal opening in the case back. On the multi-layer dial are the following indications: the power reserve at 6 o'clock, also clearly inspired by motor racing (it looks like a fuel reserve warning light); the retrograde date at 3 o'clock; the day of the week at 9 o'clock; central hours, minutes and seconds. Hands and numerical indexes are treated with SuperLuminova for greater visibility in low light conditions. Very original is the design of a large V-shaped vent at 12 o'clock, made with a honeycomb pattern composed of hexagonal cells. The strap is made of hypoallergenic technopolymer, a material generally used to dress the sticks of glasses, and is closed by a titanium folding clasp personalised with the Vergo Avius logo.
