The Alpnach watches by Victorinox Swiss Army are named after the military airbase of the legendary Cougar AS 532 helicopters. They thus betray, not only in their look, the clear military inspiration. The dial is perfectly legible (pilots must be able to obtain important information at a glance). From the case back, the automatic ETA 2824 calibre is visible, with its oscillating weight composed of four blades inspired by the Cougar AS 532 helicopter. The three new time-only versions are available with details in red, the brand's iconic colour, or in black. The case is in 44 mm steel with PVD treatment, combined with a ballistic nylon and leather strap and a black PVD steel bracelet.
