THE I.N.O.X. Carbon, the latest addition to the Victorinox Swiss Army collection of the same name, has a case made of a carbon resin compound, a material used to protect spacecraft during atmospheric re-entry at temperatures in excess of 1260°C. Victorinox Swiss Army's flagship collection thus reaffirms its ongoing commitment to both measuring and challenging time. THE I.N.O.X. Carbon is thus the combination of extreme, scratch-resistant structural rigidity and hypoallergenic properties. The 130 homologation tests are but the first hurdle to overcome for the I.N.O.X. timepiece. Its one-piece dial with printed hour markers and numerals is combined with a case that boasts extra protection for everyday adventures, thanks to a removable translucent grey bumper. The braided Paracord bracelet-strap, made by Naimakka, is a bold and sporty alternative to the more classic one made of rubber. Traditionally used for parachutists' ropes, and therefore with a tensile strength of up to 250 kg, the multi-strand nylon Paracord fabric is therefore an excellent guarantee of resistance. From the military format of the hour, printed in red under the glass, to the subtle marbled effect, which gives each piece an intrinsic uniqueness, the I.N.O.X. Carbon remains true to the brand's intentions. The movement used is the Ronda 715 calibre, quartz, and water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 20 atmospheres.
