Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024: an opportunity not to be missed

There is great excitement for the next edition of Watches and Wonders, the largest watch fair, scheduled from 9 to 15 April at the Palexpo in Geneva.

Among the most important novelties of the event, which this year will host 54 exhibiting companies, a record number, is the'open to the public for three consecutive days, from Saturday 13 to Monday 15 April, one more than the 2023 edition. While the remaining days will remain reserved, as usual, for industry professionals. For everyone, a unique opportunity to exchange ideas on new products and trends in watchmaking and to meet the leading exponents of today's watch industry.

Watch presentations for small groups

This year it will be possible to attend the presentations of the new watches in small groups.

Another novelty concerns the possibilitiesalways for the public, to register for product presentations in small groups, to see the new timepieces up close and learn about the great complications. The exhibition will also offer guided tours led by watchmaking experts. All registrations can only be made on site. During the weekend, the new Auditorium will also host a specially designed programme: 10 watchmaking conferences covering a range of topics: current affairs, economics, society and technology.

The LAB, for the watchmaking of tomorrow

The LAB has been redesigned in collaboration with schools, start-ups and exhibiting brands proposing their vision of tomorrow's watchmaking.

Some fifteen projects created by students from ECAL, one of Switzerland's leading universities of art and design, will be presented for the occasion. Other initiatives and innovations will open a window on the future of microtechnology, of its materials and design. The new Agora meeting space offers a private place for small conferences, discussions and exchanges of views.

The whole city of Geneva involved

The outside of Palexpo will not be outdone: the whole of Geneva will be mobilised with a packed calendar of events.

Many events will feature the new Village Horloger on the Pont de la Machine where the free In The City programme will make it possible to participate in cultural and educational activities, such as workshops and themed exhibitions. Also open to all the evening event on Thursday 11 April, with DJs, live music and street performances throughout the city.
