Zenith - El Primero Chronomaster 1969 at the Tour Auto Optic 2000

From 21 to 25 April, Zenith will be at the forefront of the Tour Auto Optic 2ooo, of which it is the official timekeeper. At the wheel of a Mercedes Benz 1955 300 SL will be Félix Baumgartner, who will test his limits on asphalt from the stratosphere.

Felix will not be the only driver competing with and in the name of Zenith: at the wheel of a 1965 Porsche 911 will be Dominique Vananty, and Daniel Spadini will climb into a Type Jaguar 1964 E 3.8L with his co-driver, Aldo Magada, President and CEO of Zenith.

The El Primero Chronomaster 1969 Tour Auto Edition is equipped with the El Primero calibre 4061. The dial design reflects the spirit of competition and the world of classic cars, with an aperture at 11 o'clock providing a view reminiscent of the bonnet of a racing car. The blue, white and red colours evoke the flag, and the strap is reminiscent of the gloves worn by vintage car drivers: perforated blue calfskin, with a protective black rubber coating. The Tour Auto logo and serial number are engraved on the steel case back. The El Primero Chronomaster 1969 Tour Auto Edition is available in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
