TCM lands in the Lagoon

TCM sbarca in Laguna

Today, at Palazzo Ca' Farsetti in Venice, the Terra Cielo Mare - Venice watch will be presented by Mayor Massimo Cacciari. The first Italian city to combine its institutional coat of arms with its own logo for commercial and philanthropic marketing purposes, among other licensing agreements the lagoon city has granted the use of the brand name to TCM of Milan, to produce a watch with the new emblem of the ancient maritime republic. Produced in a limited edition, this timepiece, with its round steel case, has a polished black dial with Roman numeral hour markers that echo those of the numbering on the clock in the Tower of St. Mark's Square. At 6 o'clock, the small seconds dial reproduces a rosette, reminiscent of the Wind Rose of the Church of San Salvador in the Mercerie district, while the centre features the new Venice logo, designed under the artistic direction of Philippe Starck. The back is engraved with the image of the first Osella, a coin minted by Doge Grimani, together with the dates of its winding period. The movement is mechanical with manual winding.
