U-Boat and the passion for cinema

For this month of July, Italo Fontana, the creative mind behind U-Boat, will launch a series of initiatives aimed at celebrating and promoting cinema, understood as 'seventh art', and some of its most interesting talents. It starts tomorrow, and until 9 July, with the sponsorship of the 17th edition of Sa.Fi.Ter , the International Short Film Festival, which aims with its 'Itinerant Cinema' to visit some of the most evocative corners of Puglia. During this week, in which it will be possible to attend screenings of the most recent works by filmmakers and screenwriters as well as meet and talk with guests from the worlds of cinema and entertainment, Italo Fontana will present directors Claudio Bonivento and Massimiliano Bruno with two watches from the Classico collection. A personal award from the designer from Lucca to celebrate the brilliant talent and work of the two directors in the feature films "A mano disarmata" and "Non ci resta che il crimine" respectively. From 26 to 27 July it will instead be the turn of the participation in the 10th edition of La Jolla, the first International Fashion Film Festival held every summer in San Diego, defined as the Cannes of fashion films. In this setting, in competition with 11 nominations the short film by Rossano B. Maniscalchi, the Denying Beauty, features some U-Boat creations on the actors' wrists. In parallel, with 2 nominations, a short film entitled Endless, also by the same director, will be presented, featuring Italo Fontana and a watch model Doppiotempo. To conclude this marathon, the sponsorship of the 16th edition of the Magna Grecia Film Festival, a kermesse dedicated to cinema, which puts first works in competition and will be held in Catanzaro from 28 July to 5 August.
