Maximum readability with the new Pioneer from H. Moser & Cie.

A novelty for H. Moser & Cie. which has created its first perpetual calendar with two windows to indicate not only the day but also the month and two discs equipped with the Flash Calendar function which, when necessary, switch from one date to another in an instant. The date can be adjusted at any time, forwards or backwards, without any risk to movement. The Pioneer Perpetual Calendar MD is available in two boldly coloured models: the first features a Funky Blue dial and traditional hour markers; the second sports the brand's new colour scheme - Burgundy - and is stripped of almost all indications, except for the dots marking the hours. The small seconds dial is positioned at 6 o'clock, while the power reserve status can be seen at 9 o'clock, along with the leap year cycle indicator hidden on the movement side. The leaf hands are partially skeletonised and filled with SuperLuminova, just like the hour markers on the flange. The watch, with a steel case water-resistant to 120 metres, is powered by a new IWC-manufactured calibre: the hand-wound HMC 808 movement, which offers at least seven days' autonomy thanks to its double barrel. In a limited edition of 50 pieces for each of the two versions, it is available from authorised dealers at a price of 38,000 euros.
