NOMOS Glashütte presents two new versions of the iconic Tangente model, and for the first time, the hand-wound version is also available with a midnight blue dial. Tangente, a NOMOS manufacture classic, is now available in two new versions, both equipped with the hand-wound Alpha calibre and a beautiful midnight blue dial. The two watches are available in cases with diameters of 35 millimetres and 38 millimetres: two watches that are perfect as gifts in pairs, but which also "defend themselves very well" when taken individually. Tangente has long since earned the iconic status of the Glashütte manufacture: it is in fact the best-selling NOMOS model ever, and has received multiple awards. The design of the numerals, the essential dial and the slim, elegant case are elements that also characterise the latest versions. New are the details on the dial, as sparkling as festive days: the smaller version is adorned with gold hands, numerals and indices that match the suede strap. The larger version, on the other hand, focuses on silver details that shine on the dark dial; here too, the strap is suede, but in anthracite. Both timepieces are powered by the Alpha calibre, made entirely by NOMOS in Glashütte. In addition to being extremely precise and reliable, this hand-wound calibre features excellent finishing, such as Glashütte ribbing on the three-quarter plates and perlage on the base. Every detail can be admired through the sapphire glass back. These traditional features draw on a rich heritage: that of the watchmaking town of Glashütte, nestled in the hills of rural Saxony and the beating heart of German watchmaking.
