Eberhard & Co. supports the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, an ecclesiastical body whose objective has been the cultural, religious, historical and civic enhancement of Milan Cathedral since 1387. This entity preserves the documentation produced and collected over more than six hundred years of history in the course of its activities, providing an overview not only of the history of the Duomo, but that of the entire city of Milan: accounting records, minutes of meetings, payment mandates, collections of photographs and drawings, and the archive of the Musical Chapel. Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo has embarked on a challenging multi-year project to digitise its documentary heritage through the use of innovative procedures. "Eberhard & Co.'s contribution to the digitalisation of the documentation of the Archives of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo reflects the company's vocation to support initiatives of great cultural importance, which have as their objective the dissemination and custody of the artistic heritage of our country," declares Mario Peserico, CEO of Eberhard Italia. An initial application of these technologies has been aimed at the digital acquisition of materials useful for the realisation of the exhibition "Il Duomo al tempo di Leonardo" (Gian Galeazzo Hall - Milan Cathedral Museum, from 22 November 2019 to 23 February 2020), to which Eberhard & Co. has offered its support.
