TAG Heuer announces new ambassador Tommy Fleetwood

The 29-year-old British golfer, five-time European Tour champion and member of the European Ryder Cup Team since 2018, is the new face of the TAG Heuer Connected watch Golf edition. Fleetwood will wear the connected watch and collaborate with the team of software engineers in charge of developing the TAG Heuer Golf app, lending his professionalism to make the app developed the world's best golf experience. Fleetwood captured his first European title in 2013 at the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles, finishing in the top 50 of the Race to Dubai for five consecutive seasons before achieving his second title at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in 2017. It was the start of a winning season in which Fleetwood also won the prestigious French Open, making his way into golf's elite, placing in the top ten of the Official World Golf Ranking and finishing the year as Europe's number one player. Fleetwood also received the Seve Ballesteros Award (formerly known as the Players' Player of the Year Award) in recognition of his prestigious achievements. At the end of 2019 Fleetwood captured the Nedbank Challenge in Sun City, South Africa. One of the most prestigious events on the European Tour, the Nedbank Challenge has long been known as the 'Africa's Major' due to the difficulty of the Gary Player Country Club course and the prestige of the golfers it calls upon to play this tournament.Tommy Fleetwood will be working closely with TAG Heuer on the development of updates to the TAG Heuer Golf app, currently a trusted companion to more than 200,000 active users since its launch in 2019.
