To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Blue Eagles Helicopter Display Team, Oris presents the Blue Eagles Limited Edition, produced in a limited edition of 1,969 pieces. The shapes are those derived from the Oris BC4 collection, but with an unprecedented 24-hour time display and the typical vertical crown positioned at 2 o'clock (equipped with the Oris Quick Lock system, which prevents accidental activation) useful for rotating the flange over 24 hours for the second time zone. Animated by an Oris calibre 653 (based on ETA 2836-2 and equipped with the unmistakable Oris signature red rotor, visible through the case back), the Blue Eagles Limited Edition is made in steel with a black DLC-coated bezel and case back. Finally we would like to point out a curiosity: inside the box there is also the Blue Eagles Helicopter Display Team emblem in cloth, to be applied to the flight jacket.
