Bulgari sets a new record for subtlety by presenting today the new Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Automatic, the world's thinnest tourbillon device watch. To achieve the desired final degree of subtlety of this new model, the Maison had to explore new technical solutions in the overall construction of the watch, combining exceptional expertise with respect for the aesthetic canons belonging to a model that has now achieved iconic status. Working with the base of the Finissimo Tourbillon movement launched in 2014, the new mechanism - the BVL 288 calibre - manages automatic winding through an innovative and fascinating oscillating peripheral weight, positioned on the back of the movement. Made of white gold and aluminium, two metals whose contrasting density allows the circular weight to oscillate particularly smoothly, the movement also incorporates a flying tourbillon equipped with a ball-bearing system that helps to keep the size of the calibre down. Other novelties from the Italian manufacturer belong to the Lvcea collection. For the first time, Lvcea presents the iconic Tubogas bracelet, reminiscent of Bulgari's identity as a jeweller. Caressing the wrist with absolute comfort, the five new Lvcea Tubogas models bring an everyday modernity to the Lvcea universe. The sinuous elements of the Tubogas bracelet add a pleasing symmetrical effect to the watch by contrasting with Lvcea's perfectly round case. Available in 28 or 33 mm diameter models, the elegant stainless steel version sports a black lacquered dial. The Lvcea Skeleton, for its part, introduces a new complication to the Lvcea collection, offering a fascinating window into the art of Bulgari watchmaking. Designed for women who appreciate the delicate complexity of mechanical watches, this timepiece is a virtuoso spectacle of Haute Horlogerie, revealing for the first time the hidden depths of Lvcea. Confirming Bulgari's dedication to women's watches, the Lvcea Skeleton is the only skeleton watch on the market expressly made for women.
