Frederique Constant - Classic Worldtimer Manufacture

The Worldtimer is a must-have for many watch enthusiasts, allowing them to keep track of time wherever they are in the world. After the launch of the first Frederique Constant Worldtimer in 2012, this model stood out among the brand's best-selling manufacture watches. Since then, the Worldtimer has declined into a range of 11 models sporting an extremely varied colour palette. In 2019, a further colour variant is presented for this elegant and sophisticated travel watch: a dark grey design of the world map finely engraved on the dial and the 24 cities on the outer circle increase the desire to travel around the world. The date display with hand at 6 o'clock is the perfect addition to the Worldtimer function, and enhances the aesthetics of the watch even further. The hour markers emphasise the readability of the dial, offering additional comfort in facilitating viewing at a glance. The new Frederique Constant Classic Worldtimer Manufacture is available in two variants: with a 42 mm case in rose gold-plated stainless steel or in "nature" steel, both produced in a limited edition of 718 pieces. The FC-718 calibre that animates it is designed, developed and produced in-house; in addition, the Worldtimer and date functions are all adjustable via the crown, without any additional push-buttons. To set the watch easily, there are three settings to choose from. The first allows the user to wind the watch by turning the crown upwards, the second to set the date and the city by turning the crown upwards and downwards respectively, and the third to set the time by turning the crown downwards. The timepiece features two separate discs, one for the 24-hour day/night display and the other for the 24-hour city. Like all Manufacture movements, the FC-718 calibre features perlage and Côtes de Genève decoration and has a 42-hour power reserve.
