Greubel Forsey - Double Tourbillon Asymétrique Watches

Greubel Forsey launches a reinterpretation of his first fundamental invention - the Double Tourbillon 30° - in an asymmetrical case, thus breaking with the architecture in which this mechanism has always been presented to date but maintaining the 1-minute rotation of the inner cage and the 4-minute rotation of the outer cage. The movement, a hand-wound mechanical movement, is visible through a side window at 8 o'clock as well as through the sapphire glass on the back. In line with this novel aesthetic, the power reserve, positioned at 2 o'clock, has been designed in the form of a rotating disc, thus completing the innovative aspect of this timepiece. The Double Tourbillon Asymétrique is offered in an edition of 11 in white gold and 11 in 5N red gold. In the white gold version, the dial comes in shades of grey, anthracite and black, while black and anthracite dominate on the dial of the red gold version. Hands and hour markers harmoniously match the colour of the case. The triangular tips of the hands, which are filled with luminescent material, allow optimal reading of the time even in poor lighting conditions. A gold plate positioned at the level of the power reserve bears the individual number of the timepiece. The watch is completed by a hand-sewn alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in the same metal as the case.
