New in bronze for ZRC

New from the Geneva-based ZRC brand, the 1964 Spirit Bronze watch draws its inspiration from a model of the past: the Grands Fonds 300 made by the company from 1960 and officially adopted by the French national navy only four years later. The main feature of the new timepiece, limited to 170 pieces, is the bronze used for its one-piece case: a material that offers great resistance to wear and corrosion and gives the watch a retro look, also thanks to the adoption of an aged-effect leather strap. A distinguishing feature of the entire ZRC production is the crown located at 6 o'clock and equipped with a special device that prevents the retractable lugs of the strap from falling back into place if the crown is unscrewed. Also protecting the watch is the Easy Clean system, which prevents sea water crystallising inside the unidirectional rotating bezel. Grands Fonds Vintage 1964 Spirit Bronze, this is the full name of the model, is equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement, ETA calibre 2824-2. Price: 3,390 euros.
