Omega opens a boutique at Fiumicino Airport

Inside the new non-Schengen shopping area of Terminal 3 at Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino, Omega opened its first boutique in an Italian airport. The flagship store overlooks the new extra-Schengen area with two large windows, covering a total area of 70 square metres. A large corner space characterised by a single large retail space used to display watches, jewellery, leather goods, perfumes and eyewear. "Italy is certainly a world-famous fashion icon and Rome Fiumicino airport is recognised as an international hub, by customers, tourists and businessmen. It is one of the top 4 markets in Europe and the opportunity to come into daily contact with this clientele was the main reason for the fifth Omega boutique opening in Italy," said the brand's president, Raynald Aeschlimann.
