Piaget Emperador Coussin Tourbillon Automatic Extra-Flat

A new record for Piaget which with the new Emperador Coussin Automatic Tourbillon Extra-Slim makes the world's thinnest automatic tourbillon, at just 10.4 mm thick. Combining features of two Piaget calibres, the 600P - the world's thinnest hand-wound mechanical tourbillon - and the 1208P - the world's thinnest automatic movement, equipped with a micro-rotor -, the calibre 1270P is Piaget's first extra-thin automatic tourbillon, which at just 5.55 mm thick offers great technical and aesthetic innovation. The laser-printed sapphire crystal on the dial shows the mechanical components. The off-centre gold micro-rotor is also visible and forms the figure of an 8, with the imposing tourbillon cage, itself off-centre; the hour and minute hands are also off-centre and positioned at 5 o'clock. The generous, coussin-shaped Emperador case is available in 18-carat white or pink gold, with a diameter of 46.5 mm. The caseback features two openings: the first for the power reserve, the second to admire the tourbillon cage.
