The fifth edition of the Homage to Passion & Homage to Talent prizes, awarded each year to professionals selected by an independent jury under the aegis of the cultural council of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH), has come to an end. Ludwig Oechslin, one of the greatest master watchmakers, specialising in the creation of complex mechanical movements, as well as founder of Ochs & Junior, was awarded the Homage to Passion prize. François-Paul Journe, master watchmaker and founder of the F.P. Journe manufacture, received the Homage to Talent prize. The award ceremony took place on 30 March at the Cité du Temps, in Geneva, as part of the European Artistic Crafts Days 2017.
