Rado's new iPhone application is born, providing information on top art and design events in many cities around the world. The 24 currently covered are: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Basel, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dubai, Helsinki, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, London, Los Angeles, Miami, Milan, Moscow, Mumbai, New York, Paris, Beijing, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo and Vienna. Created in collaboration with Turnleft, producer of vintage-style collectible travel guides, this app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store. Each guide contains dedicated sections with information on the city, architecture, art, design and fashion, including 302 geo-localised objects. Images and videos offer an excellent representation of colour and reality. The content of the application satisfies different needs, depending on whether the traveller is looking for an architectural icon to admire, an underground exhibition to explore or the best shops for shopping in the city. Interactivity and community are present in the form of a ten-question quiz to assess the individual's level of design knowledge, from beginner to professional. Users can also share the result with Facebook friends via an app and even challenge them to demonstrate their knowledge. The new Rado app is also a portable atlas of the design-oriented world of the Swiss watch brand. It includes a store locator and direct online links to the current collection and the latest Rado news, including details of special events.
