Roger Dubuis - Sihh 2016: Excalibur Automatic Skeletonised Carbon

Last year, Roger Dubuis presented its first self-winding skeleton watch, which is now being reissued in a new hi-tech version, made from a composite called SMC. This is a lightweight material popular in the aerospace industry, produced by compressing carbon fibres with resin and steel in special moulds at extremely high temperatures, and then reworked and joined with resin. Excalibur Automatic Skeletonised Carbon is equipped with a mechanical self-winding movement, skeletonised RD820SQ calibre, with anthracite grey rhodium plating, skeletonised micro-rotor, 167 components, 35 jewels, 60-hour power reserve, 18,000 vibrations per hour. It bears the Hallmark of Geneva.
