Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze
Boutique Edition

Building on its expertise in the use and working of bronze, Tudor continues to explore this particular material and the characteristic appearance it takes on with the passage of time. In this case, the Maison opts for a "total bronze" look, equipping the Black Bay Fifty-Eight with a 39 mm diameter by 11.9 mm thick case and a bracelet made of this particular alloy. In addition, a new chromatic range, based on the "bronze-brown" shade, characterises both the dial and the bezel of this diver's model (water resistance is guaranteed up to 20 atmospheres). It is a watch of uncompromising design, available in only fifty Tudor boutiques worldwide. The Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze is powered by the IWC-manufactured MT5400 calibre (30.3 mm in diameter, 5 mm thick, 27 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, approximately 70-hour power reserve, variable inertia balance, antimagnetic silicon balance spring), a self-winding mechanical movement chronometer-certified by the Cosc. However, the performance of this calibre far exceeds the standards imposed by the Coisc: in fact, while the Cosc admits an average variation of between -4 and +6 seconds in the daily running of a watch in relation to the absolute time in a single movement, Tudor requires its movements to vary between -2 and +4 seconds in the fully assembled watch. Also worthy of note is the fact that the colour of the case, thanks to the use of bronze (the case back is steel) changes over time depending on the habits of the wearer. The aforementioned 'bronze-brown' dial houses 'Snowflake' hands, with Super-LumiNova coating. The same colour is also taken up for the bezel, which is unidirectional rotating and has an aluminium ring. As mentioned above, this Black Bay Fifty-Eight is the first Tudor model to employ a bracelet made entirely of bronze. Its satin-finished links recall the style of the riveted Tudor bracelets of the 1950s and 1960s and are coordinated with the case so that both elements develop a uniform patina over time. A new satin-finished bronze clasp with Tudor's 'T-fit' system for quick length adjustment complete the 'total bronze' look of this timepiece. Easy to use, this practical system requires no tools, offers 5 adjustment positions and allows the wearer of the Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze to precisely vary the length in a special space along the entire length of the 8 mm bracelet. The watch comes with an additional strap made of jacquard fabric in a bronze-brown colour.
